I sharpened these knives for a friend. I expected a lot more from these diamond straps given the high cost of $35 for two straps. I sharpened two Cuisinart ceramic coated steel knives. Straps was a close second. I had another knife that could not be sharpened. Diamond bands are the only thing that can sharpen this type of knife. There is no way I would spend $70 on four straps. So no more ceramic knives in the future. just throw them away. Stick to high-carbon knives.
