This product has many nice features. I bought it mainly because I needed to track my heart rate. Unfortunately, he had two problems in this regard. To see your heart rate, you must first turn it on by flicking your wrist or double-tapping the screen. Then you have to go to the heart rate screen. The screen is active for a few seconds, then turns off and you have to start over. That means stopping mid-workout to see my heart rate, which I wanted to avoid by buying a monitor. Second, the monitor wasn't reliably accurate. This was often accurate compared to direct heart rate measurement (I'm a healthcare provider who does this all the time, so don't question my accuracy). At other times the monitor would then go down to 10 or 15 beats per minute. Two things that seemed to make it even less accurate were being too loose, being used in the cold, and having hair on your arm. This is not surprising considering that the device determines the heart rate based on changes in capillary blood flow in the skin, which are detected by green light. Cold reduces capillary flow and hair can interfere. I shaved a spot on my arm and exercised internally, but the heart rate could still lag behind. Tried different degrees of tightening, including uncomfortably tight ones, and still the same problem. I regret sending it back.
