Works as advertised on Avanti shower faucets. Purchase food grade silicone to lubricate the o-rings. Sand the mixing area of the internal shower valve where it slides with 400 grit sandpaper, then 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Limescale and the pH of the water will corrode the seals on it. Ports where water enters either side of the valve's mixing zone get sharp edges and raw calcium that corrodes the seals. After sanding, apply silicone with your finger to the inside of the mixing area of the valve and to the o-rings of the parts, assemble, don't forget the retaining ring. Check the overlay and install it. Ready!
