Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

TOTAL VIDEO
If you take it for video shooting, then with this focal length and for this money there are no alternatives.
For distant objects of nature: birds are animals while they are slow or sitting still, then it will do, as soon as the stabilizer runs sharply it will ruin everything - it’s better to just turn it off! (yes, I tried all 4 stabilizer modes in all the same).
For video, this is a very conditionally suitable product, even if you shoot from a tripod with a "floating" head. I will try Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10M4. But now I will definitely check the stabilizer for the adequacy of the video mode!

As a camera, even from nef (raw) there is nothing to "pull", though I must warn you, I can only compare with DSLRs.

1. You need to have a limitation on focusing on distant objects - the camera is made after all for shooting them. We solve it programmatically.
2. If possible, correct the operation of the stabilizer during fast panning. This is the main problem of the camera!
You will get a good VIDEO camera for shooting animals and similar conditions. So far it's a shame ;(

Cons

1. Like a camera - G! (excuse me), not bad as a video camera. 2. The stabilizer in video mode only works for stable scenes and when using a tripod. It doesn’t work with fast wiring - it constantly “slips”, I don’t know how else to describe it - that is, you drive everything stably and suddenly the picture slips back sharply - for example, you see to the left and once a second the picture flies to the right. 3. There are no restrictions on focusing - for example, focusing on objects from 10, 50, 100m and further, and auto focus in the body range is weak and strives to "move" to nearby objects (I understand that good AF cannot be done for this price, but it was possible to help with such a crutch as a limiter).
