Don't let the description fool you. Yes, this crusher can mash potatoes, but it can mash a lot more. I use it for potatoes and avocados, but I'm sure it can be used to puree other pureeable foods as well. It is easy to wash as it has no nooks and crannies for pieces of puree to get into and create a rough little living space.
