Finally managed to connect them and all I can say is wow! For the price, these things sound very good. I was surprised at how noisy they get, more than filling my entire family room, about 14ft by 22ft. For $56 you can't beat them. Setup was easy and the small volume button is very handy to have within reach on your desktop. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy them again. Update for today 8/12/16 Subwoofer died today, a bit disappointed about it. The speakers weren't even used that much, maybe two hours a week while I was exercising. I bought them on 2/15/15 so you can see how long they lasted. Sound without a subwoofer is not even worth listening to. I hooked up some old Logitech speakers that have been sitting in my garage since I bought them. They must be 10 years old and still working great. They will work until I buy a new set of Logitech speakers. Won't be buying Cyber Acoustics again. The rating was changed to 3 stars because they worked really well but their durability definitely needs improvement.
