In the week immediately following receipt of this shredder I was processing materials for one box of printers a day and two boxes on the last day. Each box lasted about 40-45 minutes non-stop, which could have been faster if I hadn't spent so much time (re)reading a piece of material before destroying it (you can never be too careful). The basket is only 22 gallons, but the extra 11 gallons and the tie handles allowed me to stuff more confetti into each bag, so less confetti splatters when I take the bag out of the bin and tie it shut. The 33-gallon bags were thinner than those made specifically for the mill, but they did the job. Lifting a full bag out of the bin can be problematic as the bags snag and rip over the edge of the trim surrounding the top, which can be easily secured with packing tape to seal the seams around the inside. every time I changed the bag, I squirted the supplied vegetable oil into the hole as recommended and continued to grind it. Very quiet. You hear the crunching of the paper on the way to the cutter teeth more than the motor. Someone I showed it to was surprised at how quiet it seemed to her. to static electricity, which builds up and pulls the parts into the bin and into the compartment, all of which find their way out. But two boxes is a lot of paper, and it's such a small issue compared to what you get for it - a great commercial quality shredder that's quiet, durable and packed with security features. I like it.
