This did help with my sprain.

I use this product in conjunction with an Ace bandage after a nasty twist.
It helps keep everything still for when you have to put weight on it for restroom trips. This would more than likely be too small for somebody with large feet I wear a 10.5.

Pros

Provides superior support and compression, reducing inflammation and aiding in injury prevention

May cause discomfort during sleep

I have been suffering ankle problems where if I sleep with a compression sleeve for my ankle, my ankle does not feel as tight or swollen. I cannot review if it provided any pain relief because it was really tight.... much tighter than other compression sleeves that I own... like the material was a bit more stiff... And I would have probably ordered a medium for my ankle and it felt too small... I would probable size up XL...
