We have two small dogs and I love this carrier. We don't like having hair all over our truck so we put our pug in and she fits in well. She weighs 18 pounds and is probably the largest animal that can fit in her. Our Yorkie is 8 pounds and fits a lot better, but our pug can lie down comfortably too. The side zipper unzips to create extra space for the dogs without having to carry the carrier around. It would also be great to give them some extra space on the plane when traveling. The inside is very soft and has good cushion. We are very happy with this carrier and have nothing bad to say about it.
