Review on MIDI keyboard Axelvox KEY49j white by Adam Mielczarek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quite good, but I expected more from it.

If you need a midi keyboard and very inexpensive, then the model is good. but adjusted for the work of the black keys about which I wrote above. It is quite possible that in the new batches this shortcoming will be corrected. Judging by the first review, there is no such problem. Different pros: 1) In my opinion, the lowest price for a 4 octave midi keyboard - I agree with the first review. 2) Sufficiently high-quality plastic and assembly 3) Unlike cheap M-Audio keyboards of several models and a couple of other manufacturers - the key travel is very soft - and it is easy to play pianissimo (very quietly). For me, this is always important. for many keyboards, in order to play a quiet melody, you must first move the keys with more force than is required for the melody . in a regular piano keyboard there is no such problem, but in Midi it is a frequent occurrence. Despite the modesty of this keyboard as a whole, this quality is its big plus. Cons: 1) The main and biggest drawback that prompted me to write a review - Black keys often give out the maximum sound value of 127 - even if you press quietly - they have some poor-quality contacts or something with the mechanism itself. I can’t judge by the rest of the copies - but apparently this is such a party because more than one key has such a property. An example - you play a very quiet part . the speakers are respectively at standard volume and now you press the black key, and then BAAM and this note is in your brain . 2) Joystick - it is of no use, although I do not have the problem described in the first review, but it is inconvenient to use it. when using one knob, you inadvertently change the value of the other - because it is difficult to walk very accurately on the x and y axes. This is just a cheap solution.
