The description says 600 dpi and the settings have the option of 300 dpi and 600 dpi. 600 dpi is only increased to 300 dpi in this product, there is little to no difference between the two settings. I bought this particular device for a slightly better image than the less portable 300dpi scanners, but that's true with them. Beyond that, I will live. It's incredibly easy to use, I can quickly and easily create an image, I appreciate the adjustable guide bar on the front and the well-placed buttons on the top, although I would toggle the [PDF/JPG] button to [DPI] ] ( although there is no difference on this device, maybe this will be a more important feature for future products). . I will live.
