I used to travel with a small extension cord and a 5 USB power adapter. I didn't use all 6 ports when traveling alone for work (another family story). This allows me to carry it separately, which saves valuable space. Yes, it only has 3 USB ports, but that's enough for what I need most of the time. My previous travel power strip had 4 outlets while this one only has 2. Even when I'm on the road, that's enough. The only other complaint is that it's a little bulky but slightly smaller than my previous 2 items combined. Works internationally which is a big plus.
