Our new cutting knife

I try to cut closer to the handle with the second half of the blade. This knife allows me to do this with ease and is able to cut through the tough skins and fibers of vegetables. A length of 7 inches is enough for me (after trying a longer chef's knife). It also works well with meat. I don't know how long I can use it before the blade dulls. I also bought a sharpening stone. Hopefully with careful handling I can extend the life of this knife.
