Review on Panasonic Generation Pre Charged Rechargeable Eneloop by William Lara

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hurricane Harvey Hero!

I have dozens of Eneloop AA and AAA batteries and they saved me during Hurricane Harvey. I live in Houston and when the power went out for three days my only lights were my emergency flashlights and flashlights; The only cooling is provided by battery-powered fans. Buy more batteries than you think you need one batch to charge while the next batch powers your devices. You can find "D" cell adapters that take three AA batteries and "C" cell adapters that take four AAA batteries. You'll also need a good smart charger, like the Titanium Smart Fast 16 Bay Ni-MH AA/AAA Battery Charger. I usually plug it into an outlet, but when the power went out I plugged this charger into my car's accessory socket (aka the cigarette lighter) and it worked great during the Houston flood. This charger works as 16 individual chargers, so you can charge 1, 2, 5, 11, 16, etc. batteries at the same time. I used up and disposed of my alkaline batteries as soon as possible; I'm already fed up with leaking batteries damaging or ruining expensive electronics. Eneloop never runs out, the charge lasts for years and can be recharged thousands of times. I typically use them in computer mice, remote controls, alarm clocks, my thermostat, label maker, flashlight, radio, doorbell - anywhere I need AA or AAA batteries. Buy some of these Eneloops; You will save money in the long run. Five stars!
