I LOVE this mount! Bought this along with a Workman B2030 CB Radio Metal Swivel Adjustable Bracket and bolted the bracket to the B2030. To fit the four bolts from the C29X into the B2030, I drilled two additional 1/4" holes. Using four bolts was probably overkill, but better safe than sorry. Then I installed it in my car, first tested the CB install and off we went. I went. It gives you so many mounting options you can't go wrong with this mount. I used it on the Cobra 29 LX CB. It was a bit wider than needed so I think that it fits in larger cases.The day I sat on it I worked over 14 hours and it never moved.Towards the end of my trip I would like to have it adjusted, considering how and when I can going to glue the cb i made a few adjustments to the attachment points on the c29x mount then tightened everything back up and was good to go no comparison between this mount and the factory mount such an improvement would it recommend to anyone who has space to mount and those who want the best mount with the most mounting options. It's worth noting that you have two options for attaching the CB to the mount. You can choose between mounting holes on each side, of which there are five sets, or you can install in a "slot" that allows you to adjust any height you want along the slot. First I used the first few holes at the top. Then, after the ride, I lowered it one set to the second set of holes from the top. I also replaced the Cobra CB mounting hardware. They have a fine thread of 5 mm. I bought some 5mm bolts and used spare Cobra rubber washers between the bracket and the CB. I'm more comfortable with bolts than thumbscrews. Having drilled through the mount I will find that it was easy to drill through with the right drill bit and draw my marks in advance. Just take your time and you only have to drill once. Again, I just drilled through each side to get two extra bolts with locknuts and washers in the bracket. Very happy with this product. Would definitely buy again for other vehicles.
