Great for Burdock Root
I've worked in restaurants all my life, but my knife skills remain terrible. Even so, I'm still expected to chop veggies at home! I can't, I'm terrible! The worst culprit is burdock root/gobo - a delicious spicy ingredient that is very difficult to cut. But not with this kid. Peel one side, flip and bam. grind finely. However, the blade has a rough texture that may not be for everyone. Carrots, for example, look a little velvety, but they're great for things like potatoes.
