It's time for an upgrade.

Nice knife set. The block is split, right out of the box. I bought this set because it is not made in China. Steak knife from Thailand.

Pros

USE: With the paring knife you can cut fruit and vegetables directly along the skin. A chef's knife is useful for everything from small vegetables to meat. The serrated blade of a bread knife slices bread without crushing it. The all-purpose knife is ideal for cutting fruit, vegetables and small pieces of fish and meat. And there aren't many things you can't chop, dice, or slice with a chef's knife.
