This engine replaces an engine that is more than 20 years old. It was very easy to replace. Turn off the power, clean the inside of the case to find the two metal screws holding the engine block in place. Remove the old fan, install the new fan and screws. Don't forget to plug the new fan into the socket. You can find just about $28 an engine anywhere in Revain. The problem I found was that the fan blades were very dry and brittle and on the verge of cracking so I decided to purchase the entire unit including a new bracket, blade and bracket. If you only buy the motor you will have to use old fan blades and a mounting bracket.
