fits burned 1980's fan light

Great to find a replacement for a broken old Broan fan heat lamp. We may have made the installation more difficult than it should have been since our old fan was hardwired and we originally bought the wrong type of connector for the lights. Once it worked, it took off and works great. Cheaper than a brand new light fixture and may require damage to the ceiling to return a different size. We didn't "spare" an electrician, but since we had to make two trips to the shop for a plug, I'm not sure we

This engine replaces an engine that is more than 20 years old. It was very easy to replace. Turn off the power, clean the inside of the case to find the two metal screws holding the engine block in place. Remove the old fan, install the new fan and screws. Don't forget to plug the new fan into the socket. You can find just about $28 an engine anywhere in Revain. The problem I found was that the fan blades were very dry and brittle and on the verge of cracking so I decided to purchase the entire

Replacing an old fan motor. Did the job with enough work

First, the price is ridiculously high. Exhaust fans for bathrooms are now greatly overrated. The detail is an attempt to replace worn out motors in 25 year old fans. New builds require drywall, plumbing and wiring with access to the attic to work on so this is not an option and they are grossly overpriced. This motor assembly looked serviceable which is why I paid the price for this unit. Finally, the stem is the same diameter but an inch longer, the blower is too narrow. Cut the shaft and…

Replacement Replacement for 162K

Very easy to change. You will need a fairly short 1/4" socket wrench or a flathead screwdriver to remove the motor mounting screws. Remove the bulb, remove the fan cover (disconnect the springs inside the case), disconnect the motor, unscrew the top screw on the motor. (You can't see it so don't take it off or it will hurt to get it back) then remove the bottom screw. Rotate the housing slightly to loosen the bracket from the top screw and remove the motor. To install the new motor it took…

He lives again! fits cooker hood parts and accessories

Bracket almost didn't reach center to center hull bolts, had to turn elbows from 90 degrees to 75 degrees for more reach, height decreased about 1/ 4 inches but still fits fairly well, I copied the important info from a reviewer named Eric Chang, here it is: Most likely the vent wiring is copper. However, the wiring of this product is made of aluminum. DO NOT simply solder or join aluminum to copper. They have different heating temperatures, and if your fan is in the bathroom, moisture will…
