The first thing I did when I got them was take them apart to make sure they were waterproof. The first one came apart relatively easily and I was able to fix it with RSV sealant. The second will not fall apart; Hex head screws are overtightened at the factory. I could only add RSV on the outside. Let's see how they hold up. The punch holes in the bumper were just as amazing as I imagined, as was the wiring in the front and in the cabin. The whole work took about three and a half hours, I took my time and chatted with my son about what I was doing and why. Eventually they shine bright. I'll update if they fail prematurely.
