I tested these antennas with the standard antenna that comes with the Gigabyte Desktop WIFI Kit with an Intel 8260 Mini-Card for 2.4 and 5 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2. This kit is a new 802.11 AC specification and requires a 2Rx2T antenna (two times receive and two times transmit) that also supports the Bluetooth 4.2 specification. The performance of the Gigabyte antenna is good, it offers a maximum speed of 100 Mbit / s. I have an optimal cable connection via WLAN. . Tests with both antennas showed 115 Mbps in, 37 Mbps on a 5 GHz connection and slightly less on a 2.4 GHz connection. The desktop is in the next room to the Optimum router (802.11AC specification), so the results are good with both antennas. There is a significant difference in connection speed, signal strength and DBI between the two which leads me to believe TECHTOO antennas would perform better. if continues or the signal begins to deteriorate. TECHTOO 5 GHz connection speed 520 Mbps, signal strength 80%, DBI -60. (lower DBI means stronger and better signal) Gigabyte 5 GHz connection speed 390 Mbps, 80% signal strength, DBI -65 (still good signal, but TECHTOO has better reception) TECHTOO 2.4 GHz connection speed 144 Mbps, signal level 99%, DBI - 39 (very strong signal) Gigabyte 2.4Ghz Link Speed 144Mbps, signal strength 93%, DBI -55 (still good signal, but TECHTOO has better reception). So TECHTOO's signal numbers show that they are using a better quality signal than the standard gigabyte antenna. The further away or more radio noise, the better TECHTOO. And TECHTOO has a 130Mbps faster connection, which means that if I had faster internet, TECHTOO's antennas would have better/higher speed tests than Gigabyte. Another very important point was the performance of Bluetooth 4.2. Photos upload faster from my Samsung S5 to desktop via Bluetooth with TECHTOO antennas. And there was no problem with the Intel 8260 Mini card receiving Wi-Fi signals with Bluetooth enabled (problem testing regular dual band 6dbi antennas). All the functions of the Gigabyte mini card worked with TECHTOO antennas. So if you have an 802.11AC router and PCIe desktop WiFi cards, these antennas are what you need.
