There are many e scooter to choose from and HiBoy seems to be a reputable brand in this price range. The MAX3 seems to be more spacious and the latest version. I love the pneumatic tire, it's a wide one and I found the lack of suspension not a problem, out of the habit from riding a road bike I am used to constantly scan the road for cracks and bumps and avoid them. I actually enjoy the simplicity of not having a suspension. It is quiet and compliant over bumps. The headlight is pretty good, it actually does a nice job lighting up the road. It also have tail lights that flashes when braking and they light up also when the headlight is on.It has one brake and it would be better if it has two. It works OK but definitely need to know your braking distance and brake early. It does have a metal wheel up front, not sure about the back one attached to the motor but alot of scooters come with plastic wheels.Battery life is pretty decent. I won't get the 17 miles due to weight and alot of acceleration riding at the park up and down. After about 10 miles it is down to the last bar, the bar has been depleting linearly. There is still a lot of torque although I think it could suddenly run out. It does an ok job as a manual push scooter as well so in the worse case it can roll back home.At first I was not too happy because the handle bar alignment was a little off. I contacted support and they told me to loosen 4 screws but I found only the front 2 screws that are opposing direction is responsible for adjusting alignment. However after loosening those 2 screws the handler bar still will not move from the wheel. I had to loosen the large nut holding down the whole headset a bit (I marked this nut position so I could put it back) I loosened probably 1/4" from where I marked. Finally I was able to start aligning the handle bar (by putting shoes against the tire and rotating the handlebars) After the fix it was perfect and no longer looking at the crooked control and handlebar, and the riding experience is even better. I hope this helps someone as I cannot find any tutorials about alignment on this model.
