Perfect for commuting

I personally like the Hiboy scooters. I have had good experiences with them. I got this new design, the Hiboy MAX3, the third iteration of the popular MAX electric scooter by Hiboy. It is packed with practical features like 10-inch solid tires, compact and foldable design, a top speed of almost 20 mph, an excellent brake system as well as front and rear lights that increase its safety. It has a wider standing platform than earlier iterations for comfort and new bars for greater control. In my opinion, this foldable scooter is great for commuters. This is a relatively fast and affordable scooter that can keep up the pace mile after mile. It’s loaded with convenient and practical features like a head and taillights, an LCD, and a wide standing deck.It features 10-inch pneumatic tires for a more comfortable ride over bumps and potholes. However, the MAX3 is intended for flat urban terrains so that I won’t be experiencing many bumps and potholes. Additionally, the single lever, the dual brake system are easy to operate, leaving us free to maneuver the vehicle when the unexpected happens. To me, compared to similar products, with the price of $459, it’s pretty affordable. It offers the same or better features than more expensive competing models like Ninebot MAX G30, Xiaomi M365, Glion Dolly, Gotrax G4, etc.I use cruise with this scooter because at the cruising speed of 12 mph, the battery lasts longer, Of course, if I like to speed up, I can reach its top speed of 18.6 mph, but in this case, the battery drains faster. This model is made for a 200-pound rider with a maximum travel range of 17 miles. I just hate when I can’t ride it at least an hour and a half continuously on a single charge. This is my biggest complaint about MAX3, but you need to know that a lower price usually means a smaller battery. The MAX3 uses a 36 V, 7.5 Ah Li-ion battery. The good thing about the battery is that you can recharge it relatively fast (between 4 to 6 hours to fully recharge the battery). Its 350W brushless motor provides enough power to overcome hills up to 15 degrees easily and to reach its top speed of 18.6 mph. However, do not expect these speeds when going uphill or with a rider of 200 lbs. The steepest the hill and the heavier the rider, the MAX3 is going to feel, bringing the speed down to 7-8 mph. Also, the battery drains much faster in these conditions. While it’s easy to get carried away with the fast ride and the wind blowing through your hair, braking and slowing down is also essential. Thanks to the innovative brake system on the MAX3, I won't be worried about it because the system works so well. It features a dual brake system (manual disc brake combined with electronic brake) like so many others in the class.Overall, the MAX3 has a compact and portable design. It is good to know that because, eventually, you’ll have to carry and store the thing. Most manufacturers take this into account and work to reduce the dimensions and weight of their products. The Hiboy MAX3 weighs 40 lbs, and thanks to the simple latch mechanism, it folds/unfolds in just a few seconds. In a nutshell, the Hiboy MAX3 is a good value. It features an eye-catchy intuitive design with aesthetic lines, and in a commuter scooters’ department, it stands better than similar competing models. If you want to put miles on your electric scooter, this machine is well worth the investment. Its well-designed cockpit has wide bars for better steering, and an LED dashboard display is providing important information. The wide pneumatic tires add traction and smooth out the bumps in the road. The MAX3 is not the best electric scooter you will find, but it has a great price/performance ratio.
