Great product and easy to install on my Jeep Wrangler

Great product and easy to install on my Jeep Wrangler. I thought it would be a difficult replacement, but it turned out to be very easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the old, worn factory fenders. It's easy, just take a screwdriver and pry off the old stop. The screw is located inside the case and unscrews through the bottom. There's no mother above! Once you've removed all of the dirt and stone from the top cylinder, you can use a mirror to look at it. Once you pull out the old assembly, they slide right in between the springs with little effort. They are pre-lubricated and therefore very smooth. I only raised the front end and the coil springs stretched a lot under the weight of the tire to slide easily between them. One thing to note: if you don't have a lift, you'll need to cut them down to fit properly. I just made it with a hacksaw after measuring what I needed. You must do this before you put everything in, otherwise you will have to pull it out again. You can try fitting them into the old corrugated cardboard that came from the factory. Good luck with it! I installed them without this part. They look great and are very durable so I doubt they will need to be replaced any time soon. When installing, they are screwed into the bottom of the cylinder from below. I would advise you to use the nut that comes with the kit. Just use some paper in the nest to keep the nut from falling out and it works great.
