That's the one you need

I have an F150 that's just north of 12,000 pounds draw weight and I'm using a decent 2 inch stainless steel trailer that's rated for 10,000 pounds is designed, so it's definitely a strong link in the system. Harder steel takes bending moment better on the ball joint mounts and greatly reduces the likelihood of flexing as I've seen with lessor mounts. Forging also allows for the use of harder steel and the elimination of some of the stress increases associated with welding. You will find that this towbar is more beautifully shaped than usual. In addition, it is powder coated to minimize rust. I just lugged an 8,000 pound load through lots of rain, ice and salt for several days. The streets were brutal. Towed the car on a trailer. Holds required the car to be trailer-mounted at the front and the car to be front-wheel drive, which didn't help, and resulted in excessive tongue weight. real work. The clutch bracket was pretty dirty when I took it off the truck. Cleaned, mopped, looks like new - not a spot of rust which I'm sure would have on a rental product. This is something that will last a lifetime. So if you spend a few dollars more, you won't notice it. One more thing: I ordered a stainless steel hitch pin that didn't arrive on time, so I used a garden hitch pin that had some sort of light coating, maybe zinc plated - it rusted in the most stressed areas. Good job CURT, you make a really good product! I ended up ordering this mount, ball and movement from Revain around the same time. Revane put them all in a box. When I saw this on the shipping note I thought the movement was just broken. But Ryan did it. Good packaging, everything arrived perfectly. Nice work Rewan!
