This pin comes in a cute box, which is great for gift wrapping. The pin itself is bright and the shiny gold color looks great on dark fabrics. It's very detailed and beautiful. The crystal is very shiny and doesn't look cheap. The chains tend to twist, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. This is costume jewelry, so the tallow will eventually stain it. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be a problem much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet. I find the price a bit high for that. It's a pretty pin, but it's costume jewelry, not the real deal.
