Review on 🌿 Filtrete Healthy Allergen Reduction: Guaranteed Relief for Allergy Sufferers by Eric Speers

BACKGROUND: For the past few years I have used 3M Filtrete Allergen Reduction Microfilters, 1000 MPR, 20" x 30" x 1", 6-Pack (9822DC -6) which worked great I came across the 3M Filtrete Ultra Allergen, which is priced below their normally cheaper counterparts and picked up a 6 pack to see if the difference between the two models was enough to justify the price difference. I have two stories. Home with four different size filters to purchase. I was shocked and disgusted at how quickly and how dirty these filters got after only two months of use. I received six packs of different sizes and they almost used all year round I've noticed that with the windows closed, the air conditioner on and the filters in place here in Texas I get both didn't have as many problems with seasonal allergies in spring as in autumn. PACKAGING: These filters came in six packs in a plain white cardboard box that is also found in chain stores and kept on equipment shelves. USE How often you change your air filter depends on many factors and therefore the amount will vary from person to person. Holiday homes approx. every 6-12 months. The average pet-free home is 90 days. The average house with pets is about 60 days. Typical home with more than one pet or allergy sufferer every 30-45 days. I only have seasonal allergies with no pets. My time frame is supposed to be around 90 days, but I changed these filters every 60 days because they built up a very thick layer of gray dust during that time. CUSTOMER SERVICE Unknown. Never used at the time I had filters. BENEFITS:++ Excellent air filtration for those suffering from high levels of allergens. CONS: ++ Higher MPR ratings cause airflow restriction. This is a known problem and can lead to problems such as higher heating bills in winter. CONCLUSION: I will personally use 3M Filtrete Micro Allergen Reduction Filters, 1000 MPR, 20" x 30" x 1" 6-Pack (9822DC-6), but for allergy sufferers or pets I cannot recommend these filters enough.
