I see so many bad reviews about this sharpener. It's like a Dahle 133 sharpener for half the price. You must know how to use it properly. There is a guide that comes with it and you need to hold it with one hand and use the sharpener. It's easy once you get the hang of it, and it will give you a nice lead on your pencil. There are videos on You Tube about the Dahle sharpener, watch them and you will understand how to use it. I love this sharpener. I'm editing this review as it just broke. The part you pull out to insert the pen is stuck and won't let you insert the pen. I loved it until it broke 4 months after purchase.
