I see so many bad reviews about this sharpener. It's like a Dahle 133 sharpener for half the price. You must know how to use it properly. There is a guide that comes with it and you need to hold it with one hand and use the sharpener. It's easy once you get the hang of it, and it will give you a nice lead on your pencil. If you know how to use a dahle sharpener then you can use this one and you will be very happy and excited that you found it. This is better in my opinion and works great for sharpening every pencil I've tried in it. You have to hold it with one hand and twist it with the other, but it's really not that difficult. I've had this sharpener not long ago so these are just my first observations. This type of sharpener is much better than most other types. The biggest challenge is figuring out how to use it if you've never used it before. Therefore, all 1-star reviews say the sharpener will not work if the problem is due to operator error.
