Review on πŸ”Œ GODIAG GT100 OBDII Breakout Box – ECU Bench Connector & Protocol Detector for OBD Diagnostic Port Testing by Lance Gunn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best tester at this price.

At first I thought what I was getting myself into but after some research on the internet I got a contact from 2004. For a Ranger that had an intermittent stalling problem I was able to use a GT100+ cable between the ECMs . and checking the wiring harness and using my cheap OBD2 scanner finds that the ECM stopped firing injection pulses every time the engine stalled while all the sensors were working properly. The GT100+ helped me realize I had a bad ECM and not just a bad bottom as everyone was telling me. This tool looks intimidating at first, but after experimenting with it and seeing how well it works, I won't hesitate to use it again whenever I encounter mysterious ECM issues that the OBD scanner doesn't detect can. Finally, I would like to add that I would have liked the wiring harness to be a bit more durable, but after using it I quickly realized that it had to be in a way that it would fit into the factory fitted narrow end caps. Thank you GoDiag for such a good product, I am sure I will find many more uses for this device.
