I'm very familiar with applying auto wrap, but this material is incredibly difficult to apply. I made a headlight and was exhausted with the difficulty of fitting it to the curvature of the lens and not folding it. I then contacted 3M for instructions and they said they do not recommend this product for headlights. WTF? I finally found a YouTube video showing how to make it fit. You must use a "tack" formula of distilled water (80%) and alcohol (20%) on one side of the lens so you can pull the film over the rest of the lens to stick. Much luck!
