Beautiful door sill straight from the packaging! The silver pages shine. However, I think the way it was rolled up caused some parts of the strip to wrinkle after application (see photos). It was hard trying to smooth out the wrinkles (and believe me I've tried many times). So I left everything as it is. The 3m tape held tight. When I tried to remove the skid plate to realign it, it got stuck. Excellent adhesion! I think the only issue I had was that the silver lining on the strip had obvious creases that I couldn't remove which really ruined the look! So I'm deducting 2 stars for that. Other than that, it's a great product! I would probably recommend plain black as it would be harder to notice the creases visible on the silver shield. Hope it lasts longer too!
