You get what you paid for.
The weld was of poor quality and as it was welded from steel bars the finished product was not a perfect rectangle. 1/16 inch from end to end. You get what you paid for. A bit ugly but still works. At least the U-bolts are painted black to prevent rust. I think castings are the best option. I will switch this summer.
