The communication range never came close to the declared 30 - 50 meters. At best, I managed 4 meters without any problems. I had to return as it would not meet my storage needs. I need to inventory the hardware on people's desktops and need a wireless solution that doesn't get in my way. My laptop cart usually blocks the island with my wired scanner. On the plus side, it's fairly accurate and uses a USB-C cable for charging. It's about the size of a keychain so works well in tight spaces. I'm afraid I might lose him. It worked great on reflective material and I was able to scan the barcode on the side of a cold drink cup.
