I use the LHR75 to polish aluminum on an airplane. For right angles and curved surfaces that are difficult to machine with a large tool like the Cyclo, the Rupes LHR75 is an excellent tool. Unlike waxing/polishing paint, polishing metal requires you to use a polishing cloth wrapped around a random orbital head and the cloth must move aggressively. The Rupes tool has the power and stroke to efficiently move the polishing cloth. Unlike numerous electric polishers I've tried, the Rupes LHR75 did the job and had the power needed. The tool is also lightweight and doesn't get hot like electric polishers. The only downside I've found with the LHR75 is that the throttle guard is annoying when I'm also holding a buff, so I'll probably remove the guard spring.
