easy install on my 2008 HD Nightster 1200. They've done about 450 miles now and I love the feedback from the brakes. They don't seem to fade much with repeated use. However, when I bought the bike, there was almost no meat left on the old pads, so I don't have a good basis for comparison. I have used other EBC products (brake pads, clutch components) and they always work well and are not expensive. Please note that this only includes the pads while the retailer version of this product also includes a spare spring. No big deal, just check the old spring, clean it with brake cleaner and put it back
