This device allows your Bluetooth enabled door lock (in my case I have an AKASO Smart Lock SW805) to talk over WiFi which in turn gives you allows to manage it via the Internet. You still need to use the special door lock app recommended with the bluetooth door lock. Without this gateway, you must be within Bluetooth range to make changes. Using this gateway bridge essentially converts the Bluetooth signal to Wi-Fi. I've been using this on my AirBnB property for about 5 months now, adding and removing door codes almost weekly. No problem. The only tricky part is setting up the gateway. You need to read the instructions or watch a youtube video. Also, make sure the airlock is next to the door lock.
