I'm really impressed with how easy this thing was to use. It took quite a bit of effort to set it as the default camera and microphone on the laptop, but once I figured out how to do it I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the camera compared to the laptop. I also understand that the microphone sounds great and the built-in noise-canceling speaker is a nice plus. The other side of the conversation is loud and clear and can double as your computer speaker for other things if you like. Not the best frequency response for music, but certainly better than any laptop speaker! I would like to point out two more things. 1) It's a tall, thin rectangle. There's nothing you can do about it. It cannot be laid on its side, it cannot be hooked onto anything. It is made to sit on a table facing a group of people. You can tilt the camera up a bit, but that's about it. You have to think about whether you have the right layout and know where you want to use this thing. Of course, a conference table is ideal. 2) It uses a 120 degree camera lens, which has a slight fisheye effect. This is great for capturing multiple people on the same screen, but not so great if you want it to be generic too and use it for individual Zoom calls too. if you don't want the part of you in the picture to be 80% of the body and 20% of the face. I like to tilt my laptop screen so that only my head is in the picture and this camera definitely doesn't do that. said Nuff. Recommended for the intended use!
