Estwing solid hammers are of a very high quality and although slightly more expensive than most hammers they are well worth the price. The padded grips work well, reducing hand fatigue and the bottom of the grip expands so you can "click" a little as you swing. One-piece construction makes this hammer virtually unbreakable in normal use and has a better balance point than wooden-handled hammers. Also, you don't have to worry about the hammer head coming off this hammer like you would with a wooden handle. I've had the electric version since 2012 and it still works.
