This USB Type-C to HDMI cable is incredibly durable and well made. I wanted to use my smartphone to connect to the monitor, but found out too late that my (blue, Android) phone doesn't support two-way communication. I believe only high-end mobile phones support this, so make sure your device does before proceeding. The string is slightly thicker than average and the cloth/braid cable wrapping is of excellent quality. A length of 10 feet should be sufficient for a variety of purposes, but 10 feet can be overkill, so I'd recommend thinking about how you intend to use it most. Metal parts from C-HDIM to C USB feel more comfortable than many because they are not thin sheet metal and do not bend easily. This cable connects my laptop to a monitor or TV. The connectors and cable are solid, although the cable itself is a bit stiff for my liking. The forks have an attractive design and almost perfect quality.
