While smaller than some people are looking for, they're an all-around good positioning square. If you're working on something longer than 4 feet, you might not like it. I recently used them on a 30" sided suitcase I made. It was important that the sides were very close to a square. These positioning squares worked great. I was working in confined spaces and not following the rules would prevent me from inserting a protected item. Now for the perfect square; If you add 50 feet to the sides for something you do, I'm willing to bet that if you don't use a laser guided square, it won't be square. at least if you use a standard square.
