The new frying pan really lets you roll eggs around the pan like it's advertised. It's amazing and that's why people write rave reviews after using it just a few times. However, the instructions give a hint of something wrong - it says to only use the pan over low heat. This goes against the expectations of the skillet. They expect to be able to sear or brown meat or fish fillets. If you try this, the food comes out great once, but leaves a residue on the pan that is never completely removed. In other words, once you lightly char the food, the non-stick property is lost. Let's face it, no non-stick pan lasts forever - it never becomes an heirloom, unlike some heavy-duty pans from the past. However, this pan has only lasted a handful of times while my previous T-Fal pan lasted about 5 years. waste of money.
