The only reason I had to replace it after about 8 or 9 years was because my dingbat neighbor came across it. 3 times. Every time I dug up the concrete (bought a 10 pound bucket, fixed the mailbox right in the bucket, the concrete mix came in), put a ferrule on the broken post, and Bob's your uncle! Last time she really blew the filling of the plant, so I got another one exactly the same. And this time I will install it near the fire hydrant. Five stars except for durability. If you can't survive three car crashes, yes. well actually it's pretty damn good! Up to five stars for reliability!
