Review on Shock-Resistant Transcend StoreJet 25M3 USB 3.1 Slim Portable Hard Drive with 500GB Capacity by Wiktor Marciniak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

It has already been four years since it has provided me with dependable service. Although though it comes with a Y-cable, it functions perfectly fine with only a single USB 3.0 port because it draws sufficient power from a computer or laptop. I did not make any attempts to get along with my mobile device or tablet. If this is the case, then perhaps an additional USB tail for power might be useful. The silicone casing not only lends an air of individuality to the exterior and shields the interior from the effects of shock, but it also ensures a snug fit when placed on a horizontal surface. It will not be simple to remove it from the table without removing it on purpose. The evaluations mention feeling a bit sluggish when reading or writing some things. Now, come on, the maker admitted that it has a spindle speed of only 5400 revolutions per minute and that the buffer volume is not particularly large. In any event, it is capable of playing music in flac format without delay as well as movies stored on Blu-ray discs without interruptions in the frames. It seems like the rate of copying to it is roughly equivalent to one gigabyte per minute (GB/min) (at least the same blue-ray, at least throw folders with mp3, at least pictures from the camera). merely justifies the investment of money, nothing more.

Pros
  • Protective case, Y-cable, recognized design, silicone case
Cons
  • Not identified
