The position of the temperature change button is a little annoying. I accidentally switch to Celsius while holding it. Also, when the auto shutoff is triggered, I tend to push the buttons instead of folding and opening the meter. This also changes the measurement mode and turns it back on. Please note that only the tip is waterproof. When the battery cover is removed, the control board is clearly visible. At a price of 10€ I expected that. The gauge comes preset and is accurate to within one degree for the ice water test and the boil test. It has a magnet, but the counter is too heavy to stick to the fridge and not fall off. Luckily it fits perfectly over the logo frame on my fridge. Worst case, you can get a stronger rectangular magnet and use it as a mounting point on your fridge. Not perfect, but for the price I can't complain.
