There is a forest behind our house and we encounter various creatures all the time. A few weeks ago an injured fox showed up in our backyard but we didn't have anything to put him in so we could take him to our local wildlife specialist. That's when I decided that we need some kind of cage in case we need to adopt or take care of another animal. Plus it will help keep our cats in place next time the vet comes by lol. This drawer is absolutely perfect because it folds up for storage and doesn't clutter up the basement too much. The bars feel very sturdy and should be able to take a little abuse. It's definitely heavy and well done. I appreciate the possibility of opening it from the side or from the top and the fact that it is very easy to use and manoeuvre. Personally, I find the round plank nicer and less clumsy. All in all, this is a great deal if you have dogs or other animals, and certainly if like us you deal with wildlife on a regular basis.
