I love this pair of snips. I was able to cut a metal mesh easily. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are also great for cutting up credit cards. I found them easy to operate even though my hands are not all that strong. After doing a lot of cutting, my hand (particularly the thumb) doing the repeated cutting motion got a bit sore, but I think that is normal if you don't have very strong hands, and the soreness goes away in a day or so.
