I've been meaning to upgrade my apartment's dishware since since I inherited my grandmother's set. The Soviet Union did a good job manufacturing pots and pans, but those days are long gone. I figured I'd start simple and picked up this set of cookware. Actually, I bought three things at once (a regular frying pan, a frying pan with high edges, and a ladle). These proved to be really useful, small, and accommodating in the kitchen. Now I rely only on them, having realized I don't require anything else. I was able to acquire this set thanks to the event and to aliexpress.
