Syncs well with Samsung Health - see update for charging and range issues

Bought this to sync with Samsung Health and didn't want a huge computer on my wrist. This does the job well: They're small (about 1/2 inch wide) and mostly fit under shirt cuffs, so I can still wear an analog watch and not look too flashy. If you follow the instructions, they will sync correctly with Samsung. Health. After installing the app, I noticed that my phone's battery life was draining rapidly. Some research has shown that the phone does not fall asleep when woken up by Bluetooth (Bluesleep Wakelock for technicians). I had a zone set up to capture my heart rate every 15 minutes but increasing it to 30 or 60 minutes seems to allow the phone to go into deep sleep and save over 1% battery per hour so I would recommend Play around with this setting if you're having battery life issues. after installing the app update June 19th: after about 6 months of use I deduct a star (and that can be generous) Charging the bracelet is an exercise in desperation as the plug is constantly (electrically) disconnected from In other words, You move the plug to l to start charging, and breathing on it will stop charging. Between the contacts on the strap that look worn (and I cleaned them) and the tiny contacts on the charger, that's the problem. Also, the strap is wearing out a bit so now the clasp comes loose easier and the strap comes loose more than once if you bump into something.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
