Socks are thin, sheer, and smooth, more like typical nylons. The compression is more than I thought it would be, but it works out well. The toe stretch has a comfort band that doesn't restrict too much. The same can be said about the calf band. They were a little tougher to put on than expected but they are very comfortable. I'm not sure how long they will last since they are nylon. Shipping was fast. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I have larger calves (15") and wear size 6.5 to 7 womens shoes. Purchased a medium in nude.
